Step 1: Choose a recording software

Step 2: Connect your microphone

1) Connect your microphone to the USB port of your computer. 

2) Open iTop Screen Recorder and select the recording area.

5) Now, you can start recording your screen by clicking on the red button in the menu bar or pressing F9.

Step 3: Adjust your audio settings

Open iTop Screen Recorder and click the settings button. Under the Audio tab, adjust your microphone levels so that they peak at around -6 dB, then click OK. After you’ve adjusted the audio level, make sure to uncheck the Stereo Mix box in the same window. Stereo Mix will capture all audio coming from your computer and not just what’s coming from your microphone.
