- Rice – 2cups
- Organic lamb meat – 1kg
- Mint leaves – 2 teaspoon
- Garam masala – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – according to your taste
- Saffron – half tablespoon
- Refined oil – 2 tablespoon
- Bay leaf – 1 tablespoon
- Black cardamom – 1
- Green cardamom – 3
- Cumin seed – 1 teaspoon
- Onions – 2
- Green chilies – 3 4 chopped
- Ginger paste
- Garlic paste
- Red chili powder
- Hung curd
- Ghee – 1 tablespoon
- Water – as required
- Hung curd – half medium size bowl
1 – First of all prepare the saffron water and on the other hand put the refined oil into a pan and place it on the stove.
2 – Cut tomatoes and onions and place them into the pan. Now put cumin seeds, black cardamom, green cardamom, and mix it well after some time you will see the changes in the color.
3 – Now add your organic lamb meat with salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, and 3 to 4 green chilies into it. Do check that the green chilies are cut into small pieces.
4 – Mix it well and add curd to It. Now cook it for some time on medium flame.
5 – Now turn the flame down and add garam masala and mint leaves into it.
6 – Add saffron water in it and cook it until the organic lamb meat is tendered, there is some time required for organic lamb meat to get tendered so be patient and keep a check.
7 – Now add your cooked rice to the mixture and add saffron water then pour the ghee over it. Make sure the whole mixture is well mixed with the rice.
8 – Cover the whole with a closed cover for 15 to 20 minutes.
9 – Garnish the biryani with fried onions and coriander leaves.
10 – Biryani is best served with fresh salad and yogurt.
With the given ingredients and their quantity, this biryani is best served for 6 to 8 people.
Pro tip: If the cooked rice before adding to the mixture is sticking together, place it on an open plate for 5 minutes.
